Fabregas moved to Arsenal from Barca’s youth academy in 2003 & the club have claimed they have a verbal agreement with the player for him to return this summer.

Midfielder Fabregas says he is happy at the Emirates & that Barcelona has backtracked on their stance agreeing a deal with him.

And the first question that the kids asked, without hesitation, was, “Cesc, why do you not want to join Barcelona?”

He replied, as quoted by El Mundo Deportivo, “I would like to, but I have a contract with Arsenal and it is necessary to respect it.”

None of the young fans were too happy with the answer as they turned their attention to Pique.

“Why do you not convince Cesc to join Barcelona?” they asked, to which the Barcelona defender replied, “I don’t know how many times I’ve tried to convince him, but there is no way… not for now.”

Fabregas was, however, given some reprieve when a Gunners fan asked him if he is going to stay at the Emirates.

“I am the captain, and rest assured, I will continue at Arsenal,” the 22-year-old midfielder affirmed.

Leave him alone!

One again Cesc has had to come out and speak about certain accusations presented by media sources. It is getting pretty ridiculous using the Arsenal captain as a constant revenue income for the newspapers. Yet again it has been reported that Cesc is linked with a move to Spain, and that he has interest in a move.

Captain Cesc
